This extension collects no data of any kind.

• It does not track browsing history.
• It does not read, copy, or transmit page content.
• It does not communicate with any external server other than the Substack API on the page you are already viewing.
• It does not use analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry.

Substack API calls

When you click Archive or Unarchive, the extension calls the Substack API endpoint /api/v1/inbox/archive on the same domain as the page you are viewing. This call uses your existing Substack session credentials (the same cookies your browser already sends to Substack). No data is sent to any third party.

Permissions

The extension is granted access to all HTTPS sites in order to support Substack publications hosted on custom domains. Despite this broad access, the extension only activates on pages where the Substack Save/Unsave button is detected.
